Community Autism Resources invites grandparents in southeastern Massachusetts with an autistic grandchild of any age, from childhood through adulthood, to our Grandparents’ Gathering Luncheon, held twice a year.
Our guest speaker is Angela Ferreira, Assistant Director of Family Services at The Arc of Bristol County, an educational consultant and advocate who works alongside families navigating special education and the IEP process. She’ll present a workshop made for this event, “A Simple Conversation About IEPs, Autism, and Advocacy,” with time for questions and conversation before lunch.
Schedule
10:00 AM: Arrival, coffee, tea and socializing
10:30 AM: Welcome, presentation and Q&A
12:00 PM: Catered buffet lunch
